XHTML was developed to replace unmanageable HTML so that web developers can now build solid, working websites to work on all browsers and across all platforms.

Unfortunately, most web developers have not come on board due to lack of knowledge or unwillingness to learn the new language. Developers who use Standards-Based code are a huge asset to any organization because their product can be trusted to be current, upgradeable, cheaper and, most of all, seen by all potential or actual clients—not just a percentage of them.
